New York-based coffee brand Jack's Stir Brew Coffee has merged with Vin Sur Vingt Wine Bars (VSV) to form a new entity named TenEleven Hospitality.

The new business comprises seven Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee stores and eight VSV wine bars, with three new coffee shops in the pipeline. It will be led by Rakesh Chandiramani, who co-founded VSV in July 2011 and has been acting as President of Jack’s Coffee since June 2020.

TenEleven Hospitality said that combining the operations and leadership of the two businesses will enable the company to scale their brick-and-mortar presence more efficiently, including an imminent wine and coffee club launch.

"Both VSV and Jack's have tremendous potential ahead for growth. By combining two beloved brands among the hottest categories in hospitality, both which have an omni-channel business model, the path forward is very exciting," said Rakesh Chandiramani, CEO, TenEleven Hospitality.

Jack's Coffee opened its first location on 10th Street, New York, in 2003. VSV was founded in 2011 as a neighbourhood wine bar with its first location on 11th Street, New York.
