The Coca-Cola-owned coffee chain has opened its second US store in Atlanta, Georgia, and is expected to launch its ready-to-drink (RTD) across the country in the coming months

UK-based Costa Coffee has opened its second bricks-and-mortar store in the US and unveild plans for its first RTD coffee range in the country.
Costa Coffee opened its first retail store in the US in August 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia.
A second location has now launched at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in Atlanta.
Emory University’s Clairmont Campus already operates a Costa Coffee Smart Café at its Student Activity & Academic Center.
Coca-Cola is also planning to accelerate its portfolio of Costa Coffee products in the US, announcing the launch of its first RTD range at the NACS convention for convenience store operators, which took place in Las Vegas from 2-4 October 2022.
Costa Coffee launched its first range of RTD beverages in the UK in June 2019, six months after Coca-Cola completed the acquisition of the coffee chain.
Costa Coffee began operating in the US market via automated Costa Coffee Smart Café machines and BaristaBot locations before purchasing US ‘coffee robot’ brand Briggo for an undisclosed sum in October 2020.
