COFE App, formed in 2018, has launched a Siri feature on iPhone and Apple watch devices, making coffee ordering faster and more efficient for its users.

The feature utilises the popular Siri voice command characteristic to allow users to reorder their favourite beverages.

COFE App says it is the first application in the Middle East to have launched such a feature. A similar platform, My Starbucks Barista, has been available for Starbucks customers in North America since 2017.

“A good product is one that not only focuses on efficiency and functionality but is also fun to use, adding joy and delight to the users’ day. This is exactly what we have tried to do with the Siri feature,” said Ali Al Ebrahim, CEO of COFE App.

In addition to replicating the feature for various Apple devices, COFE App says the voice command feature will soon also be extended onto Alexa for Android users.

The Siri feature follows COFE App’s recent innovations in producing an in-platform analytics and promotion tool called COFElytics and the launch of a ‘I am here’ button that allows users to alert the barista when they arrive in store for collection.

COFE App, which has more than one million users, recently acquired several brands, including Kaffeen and Sippy Beans, to expand its e-commerce marketplace in the Middle East.

The company operates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the UK, with plans to expand to further regional and international markets later this year.
