New York-based boutique café group Bluestone Lane has appointed Amy Hom and Jack Brennan to its executive leadership team to help navigate staffing and supply chain challenges.
Hom joins as Bluestone Lane’s joint Chief Operating Officer and Chief People Officer and Brennan as Vice President of Supply Chain and Strategic Projects.
Hom previously led strategic operations initiatives at REEF Technologies, a Florida-based technology company focused on transforming static neighbourhood spaces into community hubs.
Bluestone Lane said Hom will ensure that its employees ‘embody the brand’s ethos to create a warm, friendly, welcoming environment’.
Brennan previously served as Director of Operations at Australian hospitality group Retail Zoo where he led the Cibo Express Café brand. Bluestone Lane said he will optimise the company’s supply chain, as well as oversee strategic projects and licensing.
“Supply chain efficiency has never been more important than it is today, especially as Bluestone Lane continues to ramp up and scale while retaining our premium quality and brand values around a customer-centric experience. Jack is a rare find as a pro in both supply chain oversight and experience with café chains. We are thrilled to welcome both of our new hires to the Bluestone Lane family,” said Nick Stone, CEO, Bluestone Lane.
Bluestone Lane operates more than 60 coffee shops and cafés in the US and is currently targeting growth through strategic brand partnerships in both new and existing markets.
The two appointments follow that of Lisa Mann in July 2021. The former Pepsi executive was added to Bluestone Lane’s board of directors to enhance customer experience and drive growth.
In July 2018 Bluestone Lane received approximately $19.5m from private investment firm RSE Ventures to expand from 30 stores to 60 across the US, a target it reached in July 2022.
