Stumptown appoints Sean Sullivan as new President and CEO
PORTALND, OR, USA – Stumptown Coffee Roasters this week announced the appointment of Sean Sullivan as the company’s new President and CEO, effective from June 19. Sullivan, who has held executive positions at Oakley and The North Face, among other lifestyle companies, will bring to the role a wealth of experience in business development and global marketing leadership.
‘I am excited to help the company realize its vision of delivering super-premium coffee and strong environmental stewardship, while working with a team focused on leading with quality, ethics, rigor and style,’ said Sullivan.
Sullivan will replace former President and CEO Joth Ricci, who left the role in March this year. Ricci, who will remain on the Board of Directors, joined Stumptown in 2013 and was a pivotal figure in the company’s expansion within the RTD and cold brew category. Ricci also led the company during the acquisition by Peet’s Coffee and Tea in 2015. Since 2012, Peet’s has been owned by industry giant JAB Holdings.
