Farmer Brothers acquires West Coast Coffee Company
NORTHLAKE, TX, USA – US nationwide coffee roaster, wholesaler and distributor, Farmer Bros. Co. has acquired Oregon-based roaster and distributor West Coast Coffee Company for $13.5 million, the company has announced. The acquisition deal includes potential for an additional $1 million payment based on future sales performance.
Headquartered in Hillsboro Oregon, West Coast Coffee currently operates in four states, providing direct to store product delivery and third party coffee distribution to convenience stores, grocery stores and foodservice channels.

Farmer Brothers stated the company plan to operate West Coast Coffee as a business unit within its direct store delivery organisation. West Coast Coffee will maintain its offices and roasting plant in Hillsboro, OR, and the company's management team including James Beckman, General Manager and Robert Vincent, Director of Operations, will continue to run day-today operations.
