More than 200 senior executives from within the UK coffee industry will converge on The Langham Hotel, London on 26 February 2016 for the annual Allegra UK Coffee Leader Summit.
Now in its eighth year, this leading industry event is dedicated to the UK coffee, café and food-to-go sector. The Summit provides the ultimate platform to develop knowledge, build relationships and drive business performance, combining a breakfast briefing with a series of personalised networking sessions and the insightful Summit conference itself.
The day will begin with a data-driven breakfast briefing from Allegra World Coffee Portal to introduce CoffeeTrack™, the definitive consumer panel dedicated to the coffee shop market. CoffeeTrack is the most detailed and comprehensive coffee shop visitor tracking study to date. It tracks consumer behaviour, perceptions and trends by surveying 4,000 consumers each month to provide the UK’s most accurate and insightful continuous dataset on coffee shop trends.
The breakfast briefing will be followed by a series of one-to-one networking sessions, enabling senior buyers and industry suppliers alike to connect and establish new relationships.
The ultimate platform to develop knowledge and drive business performance
The conference itself entitled ‘The Rise of Quality at Scale’, will take place in the afternoon, welcoming prominent figures from across the UK coffee industry and leading global organisations to share thought leadership, growth strategies and expert insights.
These respected industry leaders will discuss and debate how the coffee sector can improve the customer experience, exploring how coffee quality, economic factors and technology are affecting coffee shop expansion and consumer consumption habits.
Quality is now the second driver of choice behind convenience for choice of coffee shop in the UK, rising to 15% in 2015. This increasing importance of coffee quality in the UK can also be seen in the rise of ‘artisan chains’ such as Harris + Hoole.
As more coffee shops look to scale their business, this year’s UK Coffee Leader Summit seeks to discover how leading branded coffee chains and independents are expanding without compromising the customer experience.
The Rise of Coffee at Scale
